Tony Bennett collapses, surrounded by assistant coaches and training staff, shaking his head with a bottle of water. He appeared as if he was alright for the moment, but was soon taken to the locker room after falling to the court late in the first half of No. 1 Virginia’s game against No. 16 Hampton.

Bennett was on the sideline during a dead ball when he stepped out onto the court, put his hands on his knees and then went down to the floor. He tried to get up on his own but needed help from his assistants to get his footing, and then went the locker room.

In a halftime interview, Bennett said he was a little dehydrated and blacked out a little, but is OK.

“I crouched down in that spot and got a little blood rush,” Bennett said.
