NFL International Series to extend into China and Germany

The International Series is set to be extended beyond London and arrive in Germany

during 2017 and China in 2018, Fox Sports first reported. The NFL initially planned a game in China in 2007 which was rescheduled for two years later but ultimately never happened. London is also set to benefit from the International Series’ expansion, with Twickenham joining Wembley Stadium as an NFL host in 2016. In addition, Jacksonville Jaguars’ owner Shad Khan recently extended his franchise’s commitment to London for five years which could extend to 2025. Next season, Mexico City will host its first NFL game since 2005 when the Oakland Raiders play the Houston Texans at Estadio Azteca in November.NFL_Logo_edited
